Biosketch

Nia Evans, MPH, received her undergraduate degree at 成人头条 University and graduated from the Lee Honors College. She completed her Master's in Public Health degree from 成人头条 as well. Nia began her career in public health as a research coordinator of the Population Health research team at 成人头条 Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine and the co-coordinator of the Fetal and Infant Mortality Review for Kalamazoo County. She was also chosen to be the co-chair of the National Center for Fatality Review and Prevention's Health Equity Learning Collaborative. From there, she was promoted to Research Manager for the research team. She was also elected to be the Co-chair of the Cradle Kalamazoo Governance Board. Nia continues to gain experience within the public health field with a focus on fatality review, antiracism health equity, systems change, and collective impact.
