Kristofer E Nava, MD, is a general and bariatric surgeon. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky and a MD from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed a preliminary internship in General Surgery at WMed and his PGY2 year as a surgery resident at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson, FL, after which he completed his surgical residency at WMed. He then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids. He is currently employed as a general and bariatric surgeon at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, KY and provides locums general surgery coverage at Bronson Battle Creek.
