Biosketch
Dr. Janice Werbinski, FACOG, is a Clinical Associate Professor, Emerita, in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology who practiced women's health and gynecology for 34 years in Kalamazoo, MI. She retired from clinical practice in 2014.She was Medical Director of both Bronson Women's Center and Borgess Women's Health. At Michigan State University, she authored a curriculum for a Women's Health Track in an Internal Medicine Residency. She is currently teaching menopause and human sexuality. She is Founding President of the American College of Women's Health Physicians, with the goal of establishing a medical specialty in Women's Health. She is the Executive Director of the Sex and Gender Women's Health Collaborative, designed to inform students and clinicians in sex-and gender-appropriate medicine. Dr. Werbinski advocates for changes in the medical world which are targeted to revolutionize the way that we deliver healthcare to women, taking into consideration the many ways in which women, their health, and their needs differ from men. She is a graduate of 成人头条 University with a BS in Medical Technology in June 1969. She earned her MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin in June 1975. She completed her Residency from Sparrow Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology in June 1979.
