The Faculty Policy Manual is an online resource to orient new faculty to the organization and the policies of WMed. It outlines the professional expectations within the academic environment, disciplinary processes, appointment and promotion guidelines, and faculty governance.Ìý Serving as the faculty bylaws, this and all other WMed policies are applicable to all individuals who hold a faculty appointment at WMed. Faculty members with privileges through other entities must also abide by those entities’ policies, procedures, and bylaws.  At the time of the initial faculty appointment, a faculty member must attest that they have read and will abide by these policies; therefore, all links on this page should be reviewed thoroughly to fulfill this requirement.
Medical School Policies
All medical school policies are available in the using WMed network log-in credentials. Faculty should refer to student policies or graduate medical education policies for information on student, resident, and fellow issues. Questions about employment, benefits, vacation, retirement, and other human resources issues should be directed to Human Resources at hrmail@wmed.edu.Ìý
