The Science Research Enrichment Program, which will welcome its next cohort of students in June 2026, is an eight-week pathway program that focuses more on pairing rising second-year, third-year, and senior-year college students with a WMed scientist. The program will be available to students to participate in a summer research experience with a WMed science research team. The idea is to provide a direct, hands-on laboratory research experience for students in the laboratories at WMed. The focus will be on students who have not had an opportunity for a deep dive into top-level research in their previous coursework or job experiences. We accept all applicants and encourage any persons with a variety of life experiences to apply.
